The DSD Group has a long history of involvement in maritime transport. Through our investments, we have built up significant ownership interests in shipping and cargo operations, and international shipping is a big part of our current business.

Now we want to move on, towards our goal of investing and participating in innovative businesses that help to improve our society, as well as being environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Shore power is one new area of focus within our maritime and marine operations. In the spring of 2020, we acquired an ownership interest in Zinus, a company offering shore power and autonomous charging solutions for ships.

Shore power is sustainable, and the company’s products and services can play a big role in helping our society to reach several of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
